mom: You got C's?!
me: Um, yeah.
mom: ....Well if you had told me that earlier than I wouldn't have been expecting you to get into dental school. [laughs] OBVIOUSLY you can't get into dental school with C's. You should have told me that sooner.
me: [stares expressionless at television]
